Dahak's evil reign of terror all began after Gabrielle lost her blood innocence, and released the evil one god into the world.  Dahak has never made an appearance into the world physically, but he has made his appearance through fire, and by possessing the body of a dead Iolaus.  Dahak and his evil child Hope have been subdued by Xena and Gabrielle, they haven't been heard from since.
