The GoddeSS of love, Aphrodite is known to be self-centered and always wants attention, but she is one of Xena and Gabrielle's best friends. Usually Aphrodite does like things her way, on one occasion she cast a spell on Gabrielle's scroll and everything she wrote came true, Aphrodite enjoyed watching her squrim-that is until she lost her powers and became mortal, with the help of the scroll Gabrielle writes that Xena returns from fishing and then Xena-Xena asks Aphrodite the exact spell she used to cast on Gabrielle's scroll,
Aphrodite, "Lies will make the world go 'round, till true-er words are written down."
Then Xena tells Gabrielle that, all she has to do is write what's everything that's happening, no embelishing, no nothing, just write what you see-and so Aphrodite eventually got her powers back and everything was put right. |
