Sunday, June 10th, 2001 Battle of the Bands at Lakehurst Naval Base Motorcycle & Car show for Ocean County Vocational Schools. DELICATE GROUND WON FIRST PLACE!   -Ocean County Vo. Tech-

Thursday, July 26th, "Take some down-home, slow hard rock with a slightly heavy edge and add some steady jams. Voila! Enjoy."   -Jane Jubilee, Aquarian Weekly-

-October 2001- ”Delicate Ground took stage in full costume dress (see photo) and showed the Stone Pony crowd they could perform a range of music starting with solid electric rock that slid into a couple of complicated hollow body ballads.  The band - comprised of Bryan Clayton on guitar & vocals, Rob Puri on bass & backup vocals, and Joe Riavez on drums & percussion, was one of few and only bands to receive a standing ovation and asked to come out for an encore on the Stone Pony Stage.” –NJCOAST.COM-

Delicate Ground's guitarist did a lot of naughty things with his Gibson and Fender, like throwing them behind his back while spinning out tough, up-tempo blues rock and a cover of Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile, after which he lay his Fender on the floor near the amp and let it bleed. –ROCKNATION.TV, 1-2002-

     The Saint
Since opening it's doors in 1994, the Saint has played host to the likes of Ben Folds' Five and Everlast. Local music is what makes this place tick however, just ask acts like the Nosebleeds, Jezebelle, and Delicate Ground.” –digitalcity.com/northjersey-
