All-Star Weekend
This is a very good move for the Pacers, as they have gone into the cellar of the Eastern Conference. As the new GM Herbert Nicholl Jr has just barely moved into the teams offices, he has already begun to scout the draft, and next years potential free agents.
.: League Info :.
I asked Herb what he has planned for next year, "Well the last GM looked like he left me one single player, Richard Jefferson, to build the team around." "R J is a great player, and he's just 25, so his full potential hasn't hit yet!" "We will work through the draft, and free agency to turn this thing around very quick!" He also said he thinks they can make the playoffs next year.

GM Interviews
When Herb was the GM for the Sonics several seasons ago, he made a very daring trade, he had the talent already to make the playoffs, but he wanted to make a big splash, and he certainly did, when he traded Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen off to Cleveland, in turn for the top pick in the draft that year. So who did Herb draft? You got it LeBron James! "It was a very daring trade, but I was able to build a group of youngsters around him, and now the Sonics are having success in the Western Conference this year."
We asked if he was targeting LeBron in free agency this year, and he turned to me and smiled, and said no comment!
We can't wait to see the rebuilding job he promises! He is sure to make news again.
