FLORIDA FLYROD CLUB
Founded 1973

150-D Fortenberry Road
Merritt Island, FL  32952

The Florida Flyrod Club was founded in Orlando, Florida and incorporated as a Florida Non-Profit corporation on July 31, 1973. The purpose of the corporation as stated in the Articles of Incorporation is:

  • to bring together those people interested in fly rod fishing and conservation,
  • to focus public attention on the sport of fly rod fishing,
  • and to stimulate public interest and attention in conservation of our lakes and streams and wildlife therein, and
  • to lead in the development of conservation programs designed to protect and develop the fish life in the lakes and streams in the State of Florida.

We are primarily a fresh water fly fishing club. Club tournaments are held throughout the state. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at Kay's Real Pit Barbeque in Cocoa, Florida. Meetings start at 6:30PM. Join us for dinner before the meeting.

For information please refer to our links or call Betty Brown at 321-504-7881.
