8 More Lies Home  Our Influences Guestbook Contact We are a band from Omaha, Nebraska. Well, almost a band. We have yet to find a drummer and a guitarist. But anyways, we play (or are going to play) a variety of rock music such as: punk, emo, hardcore, and screamo. Those are just the main ones. Right now there are two members in the band. First we have Ashley Meier who is the bassist and the super funny one. (and sarcastic) And then we have me, Katie. I'm the singer. (I am also very funny and sarcastic, I might add) Ashley and I have been friends since 5th grade. We're in 7th grade now. The major thing that made us want to be in a band was.........................................................wait for it............................................ FALL OUT BOY! In the summer of 2005, I was introduced to a whole different type of music. Rock. I mean, I've heard of and heard it before, but I never really appreciated it before. So anyways, the first thing that I saw that I really loved was the music video for "Sugar We're Going Down." I immediately was addicted. Then, when 6th grade started, I introduced Fall Out Boy to Ashley. At first she was all like "Ick, i don't know if I like them that much." But then, a week later, she was addicted. And we both have been ever since. We are very dedicated FOB fans and FOBR (Fall Out Boy Rock) boardies. WE have also found out about many other bands through FOB. Such as The Academy Is..., Paramore, Gym Class Heroes, and From First To Last. Also other bands but there are waaaaaay too many to list. But lets get back to the "Saga of 8 More Lies."
