X-15 Setup is a freeware utility that runs under Windows 9x\NT\2000 and that will allow you to configure your X-15 UltraFoot from your PC vía MIDI.
- First, you will have to download the program ;)
- Then, extract the file ‘x15setup.zip’ to the folder that you want.
- Run the ‘setup.exe’ program created in the mentioned folder. Follow the indications until the installation finishes.
Now, you should be able to run the program. Connect the PC MIDI output port to the X-15 UltraFoot MIDI input port and the PC MIDI input port to the X-15 UltraFoot MIDI output port. This connection type is necessary if you want to use all the features of the program. However, the program can be used to only create files and doesn't need to be connected to a X-15 UltraFoot. The program will detect the MIDI output and MIDI input devices installed in your system. Choose the MIDI input device, the MIDI output device and the MIDI channel through those that you want to carry out the connection with the X-15 UltraFoot and that’s all. Begin to play... You can do it :)
At this time I am writing a detailed help file. However, I believe that the interface is very intuitive and most of you won't have problems when using the program. In all ways, there are tool tips on most of the controls and you will be able to see a small help (with some not so obvious tips) if you press the ‘help’ button.

It would be good to know who you are and where are you from. This way, I will be able to inform you on new versions of the program. It is a simple e-mail... how much can it cost you :( ?
