SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2nd
Match 1                                        Wyrley Juniors v  Shire Oak Starlets
             2                               1
Emily Moseley gave a fine performance on her debut for the under 10's and was also able to grab a goal.  Both Sophie Shorroks and Emily Quimby, both on top form to keep the Shire Oak defence busy in the first match of the day.
The whole of the game was played in pouring rain. The  defensive pairing  of Sophie Hardy and Ellie Richards held out strongly against heavy attacking from the Shire Oak forwards. Emily Quimby scored the first goal for Wyrley after a one two with Sophie Shorrocks broke open the opposition defence, the Shire Oak goalkeeper pulled  off tremendous saves  from both the Wyrley forwards. Shire Oak pulled a goal back  right on the stroke of half time.
Straight from the second half kick off Wyrley took the lead again after a shot from Quimby was saved by the goalkeeper only to see it fall into the path of Moseley who fired into an empty net.   Final sore 2-1 to Wyrley Juniors.

Match 2
Wyrley Juniors  v Tamworth Ladies

12                            2
Wyrley playing Tamworth at their own ground Anker Valley and came up against the new comers to the league this season. The presence of Lucy Doleman in goal who produced long goal kicks to enable the Wyrley forwards of Shorrocks and Quimby to grab a hat trick each by half time proved too much for the tiring Tamworth defence. A superb performance from Sophie Hardy in the heart of defence kept the Tamworth attacks to a minimum . This gave Wyrleys attacking duo  space to move freely around the pitch with a nice blend of passing movements which  produced a further 4 goals from Shorrocks and  2 from Quimby to round of the game with the final score 12-2 to Wyrley
