Who We Are

So, who are we? I am a divorced single mother of three, a student and a poet among other things. Chris Garwood is also a student, a martial artist, a poet and husband to a wonderful woman named Jennifer. When we dated several years ago, we discovered that we both had a talent in writing. Some of the poems on this site we wrote for each other, mine were written before and after our relationship. Silent Fears and The Untouchable were actually written in 1997 and 1998 when I was divorcing my husband of four years. I had married at 18, had 3 children by 21 and was divorced at 22. Trial by fire is the only way to live, right? I am currently on the road to being single forever, and that is a good road for me right now. My kids and I are happy with just each other and who could ask for anything more. Thanks for visiting the site and I hope to be updating more often, but life does have a way of getting busy sometimes so forgive me if it takes a while.
