The Junior Progressive club is an organization of selected high school girls in grades nine through twelve who help out the in the community with various projects and conributions. The purpose of the Junior Progressive Club is a united effort toward social uplift and self culture. The club supports its members and provides uplifting and positive moral influence in their lives and the community. The goals of the club include community involvement and encouragement of community spirit. Each year, as many as 25 freshman can be voted in, and each of the upper classes can vote in enough pledges to maintail their quota of 25 girls. The new girls are inititates from September unitl November, and are initiated into the club at the November meeting. The Junior Progressive Club usually holds two dances in the year--a Winter Formal and a Spring Casual. Eligibility to attend these dances is based on participation in club projects and activites.

The clubs colors are black and pink, the symbol is the butterfly and the flower is the pink rose.
