kilometres of Hong Kong may affect us.

At 10 p.m., Typhoon Dujuan was centred about 770 kilometres east
of Hong Kong (near 21.3 degrees north 121.5 degrees east) and
is forecast to move west or west-northwest at about 28 kilometres
per hour into the South China Sea.

Typhoon Dujuan is moving fast. According to the present forecast track,
it will move closest to Hong Kong by tomorrow night.

Winds in Hong Kong will strengthen appreciably tomorrow and weather
will also deteriorate thereafter. The observatory expects to issue the
Strong Wind Signal No. 3 during the day tomorrow.

As Dujuan is likely to come rather close to Hong Kong, the Hong Kong
Observatory urges the public to complete all necessary precautionary
measures as soon as possible.

Though Typhoon Dujuan is still a distance from Hong Kong, but there

p.m.

This means that winds with mean speeds of 63 kilometres per hour
or more are expected from the  quarter.

At 2 p.m., Typhoon Dujuan was centred about 240 kilometres
east of Hong Kong (near 22.1 degrees north 116.5 degrees
east) and is forecast to move west at about 30 kilometres
per hour towards the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary.

According to the present forecast track, Dujuan will be closest to
Hong Kong tonight.

Strong winds are affecting offshore areas and high ground.
Winds are expected to strengthen further this afternoon.

114.8 degrees east) and is forecast to move west at about 30 kilometres
per hour towards the Pearl River Estuary.

part of the New Territory.

At 3 a.m., Typhoon Dujuan was centred about 170 kilometres west of Hong
Kong (near 22.4 degrees north 112.5 degrees east) and is forecast to
move west at about 30 kilometres per hour across western Guangdong and
weaken gradually.
