COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY CLUB OF NEW ENGLAND

Kids are back in school, our Patriots are looking fired up, and the Red Sox are in the Wild Card race....Fall is definitely here, and the CUCNE is ready with a full slate of events that is bound to engage and involve a broad section of our alumni group here in New England.  We have a mix of our favorite traditional events (Head of the Charles, Columbia at Harvard Football tailgate) as well as new exciting ones, including an alumni panel discussion and networking event on the impact of the internet.  Please support the club!  Join, and you will receive all our notices and preferred pricing to our events!

Fall is also a time for a new beginning for the CUCNE.  I'm pleased to address this to you as the club's new President, as I assume the helm  from Tim Sullivan, who has served in that position for the last four years. Luckily for all of us, Tim, who has worked hard to build the organization, will continue to contribute his efforts and ideas on the Board as Treasurer. My goal will be to continue to build on an organization that serves the interests of our active local alumni as well as strengthens ties to Alma Mater. Through initiatives begun last year, we are in touch with more members than ever, through our website, e-mail and an additional newsletter. Additionally, I look forward to expanding the variety of event programming with your input.  I look forward to seeing you at our events.

Best regards,
William C. Woo CC'88
