Our harvest consists of heritage vegetables grown from seed obtained from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co. Our summer crop contains tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, melons, tomatillos, garlic, leaf lettuce, mesclun & cilantro. Our winter crop will be various lettuces, cilantro, snow peas, cauliflower, broccoli, leeks, & brussels sprouts. All of the small vegetables are packaged in clear cello containers with a button close. Inside each container we place a card describing the features of each variety & where it originated. Some of the more exotic vegetables come with a recipe card to help in preparation of a meal.
We are also in the process of preserving an old grove orchard along with plantings of new varieties. Fruits will be available in season.
Our water supply is from a well powered by a solar pump. Fertilizer is complimentary of our goats & chickens. We use no commercial fertlizers or insecticides.
We are located in North County San Diego, close to Temecula & Murrieta. Delivery or drop off is available.
