[[About Me]]

This small section is about me and how I am coping with losing weight, TAFE, making this website and just life in general.

I'm a 17 year old female from Sydney Australia and I've been trying to lose weight for almost 2 years. It's one of the hardest things I have had to do, but I think I've finally found a way that fits in with my life.

Weight Watchers is an easy lifestyle choice to follow - because it fits in with your own! You don't have to change the world to lose weight, and you can still enjoy your favourite treats - in moderation of course :)

I hope everyone reaches their goal weight - you can do it :)

Have you got some yummy low point recipes that you want to share with the rest of WW Australia?? Then send them in!

Eating healthy with a family can sometimes be hard, as kids are often fussy eaters. Do you have a recipe that you think will satisfy a fussy eater?

Vegetables! Oh what a wonderful food they are! But gee they can get awfully boring can't they? Have a recipe to spice up the taste of your favourite vegetables? Share it with us!!

Ahh.. Work and school lunches can be hard. You want variety but you also want low points - and it has to be quick and easy to prepare! Have a great lunch idea for members on the go?

A fun thing to do is to sit down with some cook books and look through to find your favourite meals. Then work out how to make them low point! That way you'll still be able to enjoy them but know you're not going to go over your points for the day! :)

Remember - If you don't have a recipe to submit, but you've just found a really yummy and low point item at your local supermarket, then send the information in! Tell us the price, the points, and what it basically is so we too can enjoy it :)

You don't have to eat a rabbit diet to lose weight - and besides, who is going to stick to it for the rest of their lives??

Weight Watchers allows you the variety you need in life and doesn't tell you "NO!".

++[[Exercising]]++

Do you want to start exercising but you don't know which would be best for you? This can be a hard decision to make.

Exercise has to suit your body but also work in with your life style. People have busy lifestyles now usually, and so they don't need a hard to fit in exercise routine. If you're working long, late hours and don't have time to slog it out at the gym - then don't! You'll only wear yourself out rather then benefit from it. Instead just try and keep as active as you can. Walk and take the stairs instead of the lift or catching a bus. Get the bus to drop you at the end of your street so you have to walk the rest of the way - every little bit counts!

So it's the weekend and you don't want to have to spend it exercising, you want to spend it with your family? That can be exercise too! FUN exercise. Take the kids to the park and run around with them playing ball for a while - lots of fun, family bonding, and yep, you guessed it, exercise.

When you take your kids to the pool, instead of sitting on the side watching, jump in and swim too! Don't worry if you think "oh no I can't I'd look bad!", because you'll be the one strutting around in new swimmers when you reach your goal weight. Just because you're big and trying to lose weight, doesn't mean you shouldn't love your body for how it is now. People who love their bodies and show self-confidence are always beautiful.

Only have time for housework other then work? Turn up the music and dance around while doing so - sure you might look silly but you'll feel a lot happier and also burn off some calories!

Get moving Australia :)
