Dawn
Reed is the spokeswoman and founder of the W.U.C.P. (Wake Up Call
for Parents). This organization was recently created after Dawn
viewed a private screening of the unrated independent horror film, "Hell's
Half Acre." The movie was filmed entirely in her hometown, and
she denounces the film as "immoral and disgusting filth, filled with
antisocial, misogynistic, and violent messages and imagery."
Mrs. Reed said, "After seeing the film, I actually felt sick to my
stomach. I just couldn't sit back anymore. I had to do something about it!"
Mrs. Reed states, "My ideal goal for the W.U.C.P. is to get the United
States government directly involved in the labeling and classification of
film and other media." She hopes in the future that the W.U.C.P.
can be used as a portal to keep parents in contact with one another
via the internet to warn of television and film programs that are immoral
for their children. In the past, Mrs. Reed has been extremely active
in humanitarian efforts and is currently in the middle of producing her
first documentary film, "No Explanation," which centers on how
television programs promote the vain cosmetic lifestyle as being perfectly
normal and acceptable. She is working hand in hand on
the project with Innermost Vision Video Services. Dawn Reed lives
in Pennsylvania with her wonderful husband Jerry, her dog Kiki-Bear,
and their two children, Ali and Brian. Mrs. Reed encourages
you to e-mail her about anything you believe needs a "Wake Up Call."
