DIRECTIONS TO MONTGOMERY CEMETERY
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
NORRISTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA
From Philadelphia - Take
76 West towards Valley Forge.
Exit at exit 328B which is Route
202 North (King of Prussia).
Take 202 going North (right lane is best here since many of the
left lanes turn into the Court/Plaza at King of
Prussia. Stay on 202.
Do not get off onto Route
202 business
route as this will take you into Bridgeport.
As you continue on 202, you
will go over a bridge (Dannehower Bridge)
Here you want to get into the left lane since once
you are over the bridge you will be making a left turn
(There is a left only turn lane) at the
light at the intersection of 202 and Main
Street in Norristown.
Make the left turn and stay in
the left lane.
Continue West on Main Street
until you see a CVS on your left. The next
road
after the CVS (Hartranft
Street) make a left and continue all the way to
the end of that street
as it deadends (no pun intended!)
into Montgomery Cemetery.
From Allentown –
Take the Northeast extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476 South) to exit
for I-276
West (PA
Turnpike) and take exit 25 (Norristown) After the tollbooth stay left and then turn left to Plymouth
Road at the end
of the ramp. At the first light make a right onto Germantown Pike going West. Continue
going straight staying in your right lane. You will pass
over Route 202. Keep going straight through 1
light
after the 202 intersection, get in the far left turning lane
and make a left at the second light (Markley Street
which will turn into Route 202) Stay on Markley
Street until you reach the intersection of Markley
and
Main
St. At the light at this intersection turn right
onto Main St. Continue until you see a CVS on
your left.
The next street
is Hartranft Street.
Make a left onto Hartranft and continue straight
until you drive into
Montgomery Cemetery.
From West Chester –
Take Route 202 North past King of Prussia.
Do not take Route 202
business route as this will take you into Bridgeport.
Stay on 202 and go over the Dannehower
Bridge.
Stay in your left lane as there is a left turn only lane at the light at the
intersection of
202 and Main St. in Norristown. After you make the left turn, continue
West on Main St.
until
you see a CVS on your left.
The road right after CVS is Hartranft
St. and you will
make a left
here and continue to the end of the street as it deadends into Montgomery
Cemetery.
From Reading –
Take 422 East to the Oaks Exit. At the end of
the ramp make a right onto
Egypt
Road. Stay in the
right lane as the left lane ends. Continue on Egypt
Road through the
intersection with Pawlings Road.
Continue straight to the light at the intersection of Trooper
Road and Egypt
Road (There is an Arby’s
on your right and a Dunkin Donuts on your left).
Stay in the left
lane as you go through the light. You are
still on Egypt Road.
Continue to the
fourth light which is the intersection of Egypt
Road and Main Street.
Make a right turn onto
Main St. Stay in the right lane.
You will pass Genuardi’s Supermarket on your right.
Go
through three lights. You
will see a large U-Haul building on the left.
On your right will be
Hartranft Street.
If you pass a CVS on your right, you have gone too far.
Make a right onto
Hartranft Street.
This road will take you right into Montgomery
Cemetery.
From Trenton – Take the Pennsylvania
Turnpike West to Exit 25 (Norristown).
Continue
through tollbooth and stay left at the fork.
At the light take a left onto Plymouth Road
and
then at the next light make a right onto Germantown Pike
going West. Stay on Germantown
Pike in your right lane.
You will pass over Route 202. Keep going
straight through 1 light after the 202
intersection, get in the far left turning lane and make a

At the light at this intersection turn right onto Main
