"God Bless America!"
****************

Remembering...and praying our troops come home soon!
Mt. Rushmore was more alluring
than the visions that haunted my dreams..  I returned to Pittsburgh a week before the 9-11 tragedy.  I visited the site of Ground Zero and Pentagon sites.  No words can describe the immense sadness.  Giving hope for all of the people so hurt by giving condolences cards!  Recently I went to Gettysburg, PA and toured the battleground to honor those that died for our freedoms.  Standing at the Statute of Peace and Unity-powerful, overwhelming emotions set in and all the visitors with our tears forming bound together in a freedom that we sometimes take for granted.  Touring the battlefield and passing
through the Devil's Den and the Peach Orchard,
along the roads where so many of our
soldier's died and women found
the courage to come
and clean the wounds.

And then,
the

Eagle***

It came
from the right side
and flew alongside
my car, right in front of my windshield.
Startled, I stopped my car as he flew a couple feet into the clearing, and perched strong and steady upon one of the tree stumps.  In proud glory that Eagle gazed back at me and my tears stopped!

"We are free!"

Thank you for our freedom!

The right of speech and creed
and the right to come and go as we please!

The words cannot express the deepest dire gratitude
I and all the other Americans have for those that
died defending it, united in
it and will continue
to uphold our freedoms!

God Bless America!
