Lucas North is a young man who works language on the subliminal level. He forces language to straddle new edges and boundaries. His style not only works on the literal level, but treats you to a narrative that tickles the subconscious. Watch out for this young man who writes scripts, prose and prose poetry with the force of a word warrior.

was very surprised to see a Bailey Bridge on the property. And it's a great story too!
Anni Wood
Grains of Sand
Anni Wood writes children's literature, picture books, fantasy and prose. Anni's recent success was winning a place in the WA Writers Centre/Australia Council's Mentorship Program. Under her mentor, Alwyn Evans, writer, publisher and editor, Anni will be guided over the next twelve months to bring her wildflower children's picture book to publication. On writing Anni says, "I discovered the joys of escaping into make believe worlds and adventures at an early age. My friends all came from books and together we would conquer giants, monsters, and evil sorcerers."  Her preference is writing fantasy for children and most of her short stories contain an environmental message.
