I live in New Jersey, after having lived in Manhattan for 11 years. Fortunately for my sanity, it's still just a 30 minute drive away. Still, you'd think a city the size of NYC would have more than one Leather bar.
I own a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever named Ursa, who I bought at Serenity Farms, a gay-owned B&B in Green, NY, and a small white/gold tabby named Butterscotch.
Spirituality: I'd given up on organized religion for years for reasons too numerous to bother going in to here.
When I'd exhausted everything from the Presbyterianism I grew up in to the paganism I got involved with in NYC, I tried Unitarian Universalism. There, I am encouraged to look at all the religions of the world to discover my own truth.
For me, that means mixing in my beliefs about the Leatherworld. After 7 years, I'm still finding it fulfilling, and it's interesting to note how many Leatherfolk I have found in various "UU" congregations. |
