This Japanese sensation is part of the exciting, young crop of talent who has gained invaluable experience wrestling around the world. Getting his start in the Tokyo-based Big Japan Pro Wrestling office in 1995, Tajiri turned heads for the next 3 years during his tours of Mexico.

It was while competing in the EMLL promotion in Mexico that Tajiri faced the top junior heavyweights in the world. Tajiri quickly became adept with the high flying Lucha Libre style and began to incorporate parts of it into his own ring style which relies heavily and Japanese shoot wrestling.

After working a handful of RAW TV tapings (in the Light Heavyweight division), Tajiri made the jump to ECW in late 1998 and began an incredible feud with Mexican Luchador Super Crazy. The two stole the show at ECW's January 1999 PPV and put on what many considered to be the best series of matches in North America that year.

Tajiri's in-ring success peaked when ECW boss Paul Heyman rewarded him with a program with then-ECW World Champ Taz. And while no one really expected Tajiri to go over Taz (and he didn't), it was a sign that he had finally gained some respect in the wrestling industry.

Tajiri is the creator of the Tarantula, a unique maneuver where he entraps his opponent's arms and legs between the ring ropes and Tajiri himself.

Utilizing a brainbuster and a Dragon Suplex as his favorite finishing maneuvers, Tajiri had won over the Extreme Championship Wrestling fan base, later shocking them when he alligned himself with Steve Corino.

Tajiri wrestles exclusively in ECW these days, although there is always talk that he will tour Japan, likely with the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion. With his steady ringwork and unique style, he's sure to make a splash there with the top junior heavyweights in the world.
