As a Michigan Wolverine, Scott Steiner along with brother Rick won NCAA wrestling accolades while earning a degree in education. Scott was a two-time All-American honoree. Big Ten collegiate experience ignited the duo's early pro wrestling success. As the Steiner Brothers, the pair sharpened their skills against the very best tag teams in the U.S. and Japan.

The master of the "Steiner Recliner" (and inventor of the high-risk Frankensteiner), the agile Scott Steiner possesses incredible size, strength and ability, and could have possibly gone far as a singles wrestler. Though Scott started wrestling after Rick, it is a little known fact that he started out on his own and not immediately in a tag team with his older brother. In the WWA and CWA territories in the mid-west, Scott won four tag titles (two with Bill Travis, one with Jed Grundy and one with Jerry Graham Jr.) and the WWA heavyweight title. He would soon team up with Rick though, as the elder brother left the Varsity Club to team with Scott.

For most of the late 80s and into the 90s, Scott formed one of the most dominant teams of all time with Rick. The two won numerous tag team championships in Japan, WCW and in the WWF. They combined power, speed and technical ability, all the skills of an incredible team. Scott however decided he wanted no part of the family affair. He deserted his brother and WCW for a spot in Hulk Hogan's nWo and, along with accomplice Buff Bagwell, wreaked havoc on his opponents. That relationship deteriorated, however, leading to a reunion with his brother.

There was mass speculation in 1999 that Scott Steiner would have to retire due to a serious back injury he suffered as a result of the wear and tear that came from wars in the ring (there was some speculation that steroids also played a part in the injury). However in late December of 1999, Steiner surprised the world by, just moments after announcing his retirement on WCW Nitro, returning to wrestling by joining the nWo stable. Steiner beat the odds by recovering from his back injury and returning to WCW.

Gifted with an eye-popping, Herculean physique, Scott is always just a belly-to-belly suplex away from victory. When he's not bagging his opponents, Scott spends his time working out, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and fishing.
