From there, the two went on to hold the ECW world tag team titles on 8 separate
occasions and dominated the tag division within the company for several years. Their patented 3-D (Dudley Death
Drop) finisher was a move to behold, and led to victory after victory (and title win after title win) for the pair.
Along with other Dudley members (such as Spike Dudley, Big Dick Dudley and Sign Guy Dudley), the stable was a force
to be reckoned with in ECW. Buh Buh Ray and D-Von in particular delivered countless memorable beatings in the hardcore
confines of the ECW stage, using everything from barbed wire to even flaming tables as part of their arsenal.
In 1999, it was announced that Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley had signed with
the WWF. Many wondered if they'd be able to succeed in Titan Land, or if they'd suffer the same fate as the former
ECW team that had entered the WWF before them, Public Enemy. Well, the Dudleys arrived, and the Dudleys were successful,
commanding respect for their size, toughness and wrestling ability. Just as it had in ECW, their Dudley Death Drop
finisher is now commanding respect in the WWF. The Dudleys have played no favourites, as content to engage in a
brawl with the likes of the Acolytes as they are to wrestle an actual match with a team like the Hardy Boyz.
The Dudleys' taste for putting people (specifically women) through tables have
earned them the respect and admiration of the fans. Mae Young,Tori , Terri Runnels, BB and even Trish Stratus have
fell victim to a Dudleys table shot.
Now the dudley's are once again in the tag team title contendership. It won't
be long until you see them once again the tag team champions.
