KCNA NEWS ITEM Coordinating Committee of Korean Friends Formed in Britain
Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- An inaugural ceremony of the Coordinating Committee of Korean Friends was held in London on Dec. 6. Present there were Harpal Brar, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain "Marxist-Leninist", its International Secretary Ella Rule, Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, a member of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain "Marxist-Leninist", Keith Bennet, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy.
Officials of the DPRK embassy in London were present there on invitation.
The ceremony elected the chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain "Marxist-Leninist" chairman of the coordinating committee and the chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy its vice-chairman and the member of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain "Marxist-Leninist" its secretary general.
The ceremony adopted the statute of the committee and decided to elect its leadership once every year.
