Praelium is the eighth world in the ImagiNations series of nation role playing games originally created by Edward Mooney, Jr. Within the ImagiNations games players are introduced into a fictional world where they take on the tasks of creating and managing their nations. Details range from religions, economies and cultures all the way down to naming people that reside in their country. The chances to use your imagination are endless as long as it remains realistic. The game is part strategy, a lot of roleplaying and all imagination.

Praelium is unique in that it combines the concept of ImagiNations with fantasy RPG. The main vision of this world is still design and playing of a nation but to add fantasy aspects within the storylines. Unlike the other worlds, Praelium is set in the middle ages, a time of knights, castles and mythical happenings.

Within the game you will find fictional lands ruled by kings of valor as well as evil lords ruling by fear. The lands are populated by lowly peasants, righteous knights, and men that lurk in the shadows. Together they are combined in wars, conspiracies of the nobility and endless adventures.

Kingdoms rise and fall, as do their leaders. The story is ever changing and plot never dull. Heroes are made in times of need and wicked villains born in acts of evil. Do you think you have what it will take to build a nation rich with culture and history and intriguing characters? To enter a world of chance, enchantment and dangers? Will you face the odds and lead your land to glory or crumble and fall so far where even your memory fades in time?
