Greetin's, all! I'm sure you're all very anxious as to what's goin' on with the new chat server. Well, I'm releasing some details. First of all, as you all know, the new chat server will be called Dragons Portal. It will be a safehaven first and foremost for any and all RPG lovers. The server can be used for other things as well such as OOC discussion chat rooms, popular science fiction and fantasy chat, and other various things. Once the chat server is up, we will launch Dragons Portal's temporary home website located at
http://www.oocities.org/dragons_portal/ Bookmark that site and check up on it in the coming days, because we'll be having some stuff up there soon! There will be three games introduced once the server is launched. One will be the new fantasy game that TealDragoness has been working on behind the curtains.
For those of you who are worried about learning an all new rule system, don't worry. We'll be using most of the rules implemented in The World of Pria with Terri and Roy Cage's permission. What will be new in this RPG is something you don't regularly see in other IRC role playing games. The game will incorporate a class ladder. The character will start off as one of four simple classes and, through adventuring and role playing, will branch off into one of the three or four subclasses. These subclasses will give the character more skills and attributes, as well as more options for role playing.
As you can tell, role playing will be highly supported, as anywhere else. However, here you will be rewarded for good role playing. While this was slightly implemented in The World of Pria, it will be a requirement for all hosts in the new RPG. So get those creative bones workin', because good role playing can determine the success of your character.
What else can I tell you about the game? Well, it'll be fun, exciting, different, and... A SECRET until later on in the development cycle. The game will launch in beta form once the chat server is up and running. Sorry, everyone, but I am a total, utter moron. Yep. MessageBot.com is just... well... one giant address book. I've set up a new eMail message system that works just like Yahoo!Groups without the frustration, though. It's called Topica.com and you can subscribe just by adding your eMail into the box below and sending it out. You'll be subscribed and chattin' up a storm via eMail with everyone associated with Pria. For those of you who have joined MessageBot, I'm sorry for the mixup and I have already sent out invites to you. For everyone else, please join the new Mailing list if you have any interest in the future of Dragons Portal. Thanks!

As you may know by now that the Imaginary Flights chat server has been shut down by the Server Administrator. For all of those who were caught offguard, I extend my deepest apologies. For those of you who believe that the World of Pria is their safehaven, I wish I could have stopped it, but had no power over the situation. However, I do have some good news!
The original creators of The World of Pria: MysticShadowsInn, Terri and Roy Cage, have decided to take the game to a major distributor of RPGs and form it into an actual role playing game based on the d20 system. This was the creators' original wish with the game way, way back 7 years ago. The game will be taken off of the IRC world and onto the Table top world. This means that The World of Pria: MysticShadowsInn will no longer be playable on IRC until the distant future with the new d20 system in place. Eventually this site as well will be entirely shut down.
However, not all is lost. Charlotte (kitchi) and I have decided to set up a brand new chat server that should be up and running within two week's time. We will be setting up an eMail list so that everyone associated with Pria can come, visit, and see if they can find a good, hospitable home. We'll hope to run regular D&D quests on the server as well, if there are enough people interested. If you have any suggestions or comments, please do not fear to eMail me personally. If you would like to help in the creative processes of the games in development, eMail me! If you want to spout off or let off steam, eMail me! I want to hear everyone's concerns and comments!
As far as to what games are in development, you may have to wait until our new website is up. Or I may just tell you if you eMail me with some creative comments ;) Whichever way it is, the chat server will not be long and the web server may not be far behind. Check back here for more news!

The World of Pria: MysticShadowsInn is still down. The reason the game has been taken down is due to a conflict between the staff of the game and the chat server's Administrator. The game will continue to be at a standstill until the conflict is resolved, the new chat server is established, and several changes are made in the rules of the game. Pria is going through several changes including more simplified quest rules and possibly a new Quest Host system involving a more complex campaign rule. Once the game is back up, most professions will look more neatly organized and less of a jumbled up mess. With the help of others, please help keep Pria alive by eMailing any questions or worries you have to Jack at Lockeyness@hotmail.com
Also, regarding quests and experience points: All quest hosts who have submitted experience points will have their submissions recorded so that no one loses any xp by the time the game is back up and running. However, if a non-registered quest host is running a quest, characters will not recieve experience. Sorry for any inconviniences this may cause.

Greetin's all! Here I am, strapped into the captain's chair typin' away again to make everyone so gosh darn happy, it leaves a sickening taste in your mouth. In any case, Jack's Back, Baby! There's goin' to be a LOT of changes goin' on in Pria... mostly downscaling. But that'll come when the time comes, and it's comin' soon. Dragoness has a surprise comin' up and may even pop up some time soon, preferably before summer. She may or may not have some information comin' up this week. Just want ya'll to know that preperations for renewal ARE in order!
