| So who are you? |
 WORDhead are an alternative rock band based in Maidstone. The band formed out of a music group created last year to perform at Christian youth events. When that concluded in October 1998, the members of the band decided to continue, but as a new, independant band, writing and recording their own material and playing to anyone, anywhere.
To date, the band have recorded and released their first E.P., entitled 'End of Part One' which is available on CD and cassette format. The E.P. contains six songs written and produced by the band. It has been reviewed by Melody Maker (18/6/99), Never for Nothing magazine (Aug '99) and Cross Rhythms magazine (Oct/Nov '99). (please click links to access text).
The band is just like any other rock band, except that the material is based and inspired by the bible in a relevant and accessible way, accompanied by a fast, heavy, melodic alternative rock sound.
The band comprises of:-
Leon (vocals/guitars)
Andy (Keys - [Yale])
Graham (Bass, backing vocals)
Matt (Drums)
The band is signed with a secular label - Holier Than Thou Records.
