Halloween Party

Our Halloween Party was lots of fun. There were Guides there from four different units! Some of the activities were pretty scary. Like the spooky story, where we felt the parts of a person! We had lots of fun bobbing for apples, and tying snakes in knots in our mouths (it was really tricky). We made shrunken heads out of apples, that we peeled and left to dry. We all got a turn at each activity, and met some new people who were in our group. There were some really good costumes, with lots of witches, some ghosts, and even a giraffe! At the end of the night, some girls made their promise, which was pretty special.

Leadership Camp

After our patrol leader elections we had a camp to learn lots of stuff about leadership. We learnt about how to run a game, and about how to work well together in groups. We even got to plan our own campfire. On the Sunday, we ran some activities that we had planned the day before. We made name tags, and rafts, then raced the rafts in the creek.

Patrol Night

For our patrol night, each patrol had to organise our own activities. Some of us had picnics, or treasure hunts. One patrol did painting with their feet! It got very messy. Before the end of the night, we played Celebrity Head. It was very funny.
