Standing uncertainly in front of you, the sight of the small creature is heart-rending. She is small, delicately shaped and beautifully-sculpted, even in her youth; her pelt, a soft creamy white with the faintest hint of rosy pink, is soft and pale, and her eyes are bright. It is impossible to ignore, however, the disfigurement; it is clear in the way she stands, in the off-balanced way she edges closer. One leg is marked with a sole, beautiful rose, deep crimson petals opening across the blade of her shoulder. The other foreleg is cut off just beneath the line of her body, a marred stump. She hobbles ever-closer, and the sweet look of utter trust and innocence in her eyes is enough to shatter your heart.
