Our baby girls. They look larger in this photo than they are. Neither is over a foot long or much bigger around than a large man's thumb. Luna (top) has beautiful half gold/half black eyes.

Ball pythons are considered notoriously picky eaters. Dala was such a reluctant feeder at first that we didn't think she would make it and she still often has to be enticed to feed. Captive-bred snakes usually do much better than wild-caught or -hatched. Most of ours will eat anything you dangle in front of them. We prefer to feed pre-killed prey, but we do have one who will not eat anything but non-white stunned mice/rats. We have two who would eat themselves to death if allowed and two who will only eat when and what they damn well feel like it, no matter what we try.
