Your ancestor's gravestones in Western North Carolina can be photographed for you. If your ancestor (s) are buried in accessible cemeteries in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, Rutherford, Transylvania, or Yancey Counties, these can be done for you. Some older cemeteries are not accessed easily.
If you have more than one ancestor buried in the same cemetery, photographs will be made at the same rates below if you want them. A photograph will be made of the specified grave (s) and Cemetery or Church Sign. Please write me at the E-Mail address below giving the name of your ancestor (s), the county, town, or community, and cemetery in which they are buried if known. If you do not have all this information, give me as much as you can. I will try to locate the grave (s) for you.
If you do not want photographs, I will try to obtain information from the gravestones for you.
(1) Photographs can be made with a digital camera if you can receive pictures through your E-Mail. (2) If you prefer, they can be done with a 35mm camera on a new roll of all-weather-condition film. This roll of film, containing your photos, would be mailed to you for processing. (3) A disposable camera can be used. You can finish up the roll film after this camera is mailed to you. Pictures made with a 35mm camera may be better pictures depending on location and weather conditions.
Successful cemetery searches will be documented with the photographs discussed above and directions to the cemetery will be provided for your genealogical documentation.
RATES: This service will be done at rates beginning at $15.00 (introductory rate) plus mileage at the prevailing rate allowed by IRS.

Shipping & Handling: Film or disposable cameras will be mailed Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation Request. All residents outside the contiguous United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, please send your name and address so that appropriate shipping rates can be figured for you.
