Summary – I have over fifteen years of programming and management experience in a wide range of real-time, scientific, military, and commercial applications.  I am familiar with Prime 400V, IBM mainframe, Vax 11/780, Rational, Silicon Graphics, Sun, Gould 32, and Varian V70 computers; VMS, VM, UNIX, MPX, and Windows operating systems; and Ada, C, C++, Java, BASIC FORTRAN, JOVIAL J73, and Pascal programming languages.

 

Professional Experience

 

Colsa (4 years).  S/W Engineer - Developed a Full Authority Digital Electronic Control, (FADEC) and ARINC serial communications model for the KIOWA Warrior Cockpit Procedures Trainer, (CPT).  Responsible for development, testing of the engine and flight software models on a Concurrent Computer system.  All coding was done in Ada.

 

New Technology, Inc. (3 years).  S/W Engineer - Developed a TCP/IP Asynchronous Client/Server model of the International Space Station, (ISS), Telemetry Subsystem.  The Client/Server model for the ISS.  The Client/Server model was implemented in Java.

 

Coleman Research Corporation (1 years). S/W Engineer - Ada software development in support of a missile theater model for THAAD.

 

Raytheon (1 years). S/W Engineer - Responsible for definition, design, coding, unit testing, and integration of Graphical User Interface S/W for the Enhanced Fiber Optic Guidance Missile System, (EFOGM).  The EFOGM User Interface was implemented in Ada and utilized the graphical X-Windows/MOTIF user interface.

 

TRW (4 years). S/W Engineer - Responsible for definition, design, coding, unit testing, and integration of Graphical User Interface S/W for the Experiment Preparation Subsystem, (EPS).  EPS is implemented in Ada and utilized a graphical X-Windows/MOTIF user interface, that allows a user to build an Extended Air Defense Test Bed, (EADTB), experiment.

 

Computer Sciences Corporation (4 years). S/W Engineer -

Advanced Automation System: Responsible for the Ada development and maintenance for Common Code Database generic units.  Code development and maintenance was performed on multiple hardware and operating systems, among them IBM 3060/MVS, IBM AIX RISC System/6000 and the Rational R1000.

V22 and C17 projects: Responsible for MIL-STD-1750 design, coding, testing and system testing for the V22 and C17 embedded avionics prime mission equipment.

CCAPS and STAR projects: Responsible for JOVIAL J73 design, coding, testing and system testing for an Electronic Warfare Suppot Measures, (ESM) Prime Mission Equipment.  Also, responsible for C design, coding, unit testing and system testing and system testing for ESM support equipment.  Responsible for Ada coding and unit test in a Rational environment for the Circuit Card Assembly and Processing System.

 

Singer-Link Flight Simulation Division (2 years). S/W Engineer - Responsible for the design, coding, and unit test of the threat environment library control computer program configuration control item for the F-111 flight simulator.

 

U.S. Tactical Air Warfare Center (2 years). Chief of Operations Analysis Section, EF-111A – Supported the EF-111 testing and tactics development program.  Conducted analytical investigation through applications of probability statistics, modeling, and simulation.  Planned and managed all modeling and statistical methodology for EF-111A employment geometry in the penetration/escort role, F-4G/EF-111A integration tactics development, and F-4G/EF-111A/EC-130 Compass Call integration tactics development and evaluation.

 

U.S Air Force Aeronautical Systems Division/WPAFB (4 years). Program Manager for Electronic Warfare Area Reprogramming Capability (EWARC) – Directed a specialist team including engineering, finance, contracting, manufacturing, logistics, and configuration of a $95M research, development, and production project with U.S. Air Force Headquarters, Air Force Logistics Command, Strategic Air Command Headquarters, Tactical Air Command Headquarters, and Air Force Tactical Air Warfare Center.  Prepared all acquisition documents leading to and resulting in the successful completion of the EWARC system source selection and contract award.
