Used Carlotta played thier unique brand of foot stompin, head kickin, contemporary honky-tonk tunes
at the Floodzone on Friday March 7, for the premiere Barn Dance. At the end of the show Used Carlotta,
along with DirtBall and The Slack Family, bellowed, belched, and barndanced, a unique rendition of
the traditional country/gospel rave "I Saw The Light". If you weren't there... you shoulda been.
The Used Carlotta boys ("The Captains") also performed at Trax in Charlottesville on August 2, for the
first Barn Dance Road Show, along with DirtBall and some C'ville cats. Then they played again on Sept. 5, 1997 at the Floodzone, and on March 6, 1998 at Alley Katz.
