The Minority Journalism Workshop is designed to give high school students an intense experience of what it is like to work in print journalism. The students learn how to write (or write better), the basics of photojournalism and interviewing skills-- under the guidance of journalism faculty members from Western Kentucky University and working journalist and photojournalists from various states. After the 10-day workshop, all of the work is compiled into the Limited Edition, which we belive is one of the best-produced workshop papers in the country. * This website is produced by WKUMJW photo director Gary Hairlson.
