The Coastal Graphics Wize Guyz Fastball Club would like to thank our sponsers, Coastal Graphics and the Wize Guyz Pub for their continued support. We would also like the thank the Metro Moncton Fastball League for their dedication and hard work.

The Coastal Graphics Wize Guyz fastball club was originally founded as a slo-pitch team. Playing under the sponser of Moncton Paint N Paper and Emerald Isles Pub, the team played in the city's mens slo-pitch league as the Diamond Kings. The team came to the field in teal uniforms complete with numbered under shirts and jackets. The team played slo-pitch for two seasons before retooling and entering the Riverview modified orthodox league in 1995.

After two failed attempts to reach the league championship in '95 thru '97, 1998 would see the club reach the final for it's first time. Always tagged as the underdogs, the Diamond Kings surprised a strong defending champions, Domtar, to take a quick two games to none lead in the best of five series. The Diamond Kings could not close the deal that year returning the following week to lose the next three games and losing the series three games to two.

The Diamond Kings would field their strongest lineup in 1999 adding two more pitchers to the roster. Ernie Cusack and Lee Warman made an immediate impact on the club, arguely giving the team the best pitching staff in the league. With a regular season record of 11-6-2, good enough for second in the regular season, they would face an even stronger Domtar club in the first round of the playoffs. Round one playoff series would be a best of three. The Diamond Kings could not make a scratch in the series, losing two straight and making a quick exit from the playoffs.

The new millenium would see many changes in the club. The biggest change was a new name and sponser. The Wize Guyz Pub would jump on board as the team's new sponser and the club would follow suit and change their name to the Wize Guyz. Along with the name change, the roster would take on a new look. Gone were Ernie Cusack and Lee Warman leaving the pitching duties soley in the hands of Chris Cusack. A shuffle in the infield was in order when the Wize Guyz would pick up a new shortstop in Mike MacDonald, moving Matt McCord to shore up first base giving a top notch defensive infield. The Wize Guyz dominated the league in 2000 by having an almost perfect record of 18-1, taking the regular season championship trophy and cruising through the playoffs undefeated to win the league championship.

The Riverview Modified Orthodox League would fold after the 2000 season. Manager Derek Green, well aware of the leagues fate prior to the 2000 season, began making plans for the club to make the jump to the Metro Moncton Fastball League. Derek Green would add three new pitchers to the roster insuring plenty of arms at his disposal. Along with the new pitching came a second sponser in Coastal Graphics. Coastal Graphics would provide the team with new uniforms and the club would become the Coastal Graphics Wize Guyz.
