The legend has it the Giant's Causeway was built by a giant that wanted to cross the sea. It forms hexagonal shapes that is why it is so strange.
The Devil's Postpile is in the sunny California it also is made by volcanic lava. It is very simalar to the Giant's Causeway in Ireland it has been made into hexagonal shapes also. The postpile will be around along time.
