I thought I would put a few homemade recipes up for you
do-it-yourselvers,that I have laying around.

lAVENDER MASK
The lavender essential oil provides a relaxing sensation,
while the mud mask tightens your skin and takes away that 'tired' look.
This also is excellent, applied in a dark room, for relief of headaches.
2 tablespoons green french clay
1 teaspoon spring water or lemon juice (for extra toning properties)
20 to 30 drops of pure lavender essential oil.
To use these masks, simply mix ingredients together until smooth
and apply in a thin but thorough layer on your face and neck.
These will take about 15 to 20 minutes to dry.
After it is dry, rinse with warm water.

LAUNDRY SOAP
1 bar of Ivory soap (plain pure soap,no fragrance)
1 cup washing soda (not baking soda)
Fill a large bucket or container
(I use a 3 gallon bucket leftover from dishwashing detergent)
with hot tap water, set aside.
Grate bar of soap into a saucepan, add just enough water to cover.
Heat, stirring constantly, until soap is dissolved.
Add soap/water mixture to the hot tap water in the bucket.
Stir or combine. Then (do not reverse this order)
add 1 cup of Washing Soda and stir.
As this cools, it will turn into a bucket of white gelatinous soap.
(thickness depends on size of container used)
. Use 2 cupfuls per load of laundry.
The author adds a handful of baking soda
to the load and sometimes puts vinegar in a Downy ball
in the rinse cycle. Super Washing Soda is in the laundry
aisle by the borax
products at the grocery store. This can be used hot or cold.
Happy laundering and God bless.

ARTHRITIS RELIEF
I have heard that for arthritis pain, soak GOLDEN raisins in gin.
It has to be golden raisins, and I believe you soak them 10 days.
I can't remember if you take 1 tsp or 1 TBLSP. of raisins once a day,
but,I have heard it said that it works, if you can stand the taste.

When I get a sinus headache,
I just use some saline nasal spray with Eucalyptus and Menthol
