About the web page Author: Currently I am working for my tribe , "Saginaw-Chippewa Indian Tribe of Mt.Pleasant Michigan", as a cultural Representative and enjoying every minute and day of this work. Daily work includes mostly clerical but the most enjoyable part is teaching other people about Native American culture and breaking down old stereotype of the black and white movies of the savage indians of North America. I also have been living a better life and learning more from my elders or what they think I should know at the time and am grateful to Creator for those teachings.

I did finish my schooling in Earthcity, MO. to learn more on computers, programming, and the industries hardwares and software. As a Tribal member of the
Saginaw-Chippewa Indian Tribe of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, "Sag-Chip", I try to be a worthwhile role model for those young Native American, "NA", students that still live on our Reservation, "The Rez". I do this by taking part of the Tribes Higher Education department resources when possible and when home back in Michigan offer my spare time to the 7th Generation farm out on Remus road. By doing just these two things I show that it is possible for a young NA student to excel in whatever they want to do. I would like the reader to know that yes it is difficult even for young and promising NA students to get there chance.
I do want my relatives and the younger generations to have a true chance to do something really great for their Tribe as I do so attempt to. I want them to know that yes I, they can go on and be better people and that I have faith that they will make good choices for their betterment. We of the Sag-Chip Tribe have such a excellent way to make ourselves more independant and closer to true Tribal Sovereignty than ever. For us as a tribe to make this happen is to invest in our future which is our children. A great man once said, "if we do not give anything to our children then how are we to expect them to give anything to their children", well ok... maybe I am not a great man yet but I really do believe this statement. I want the best for our youths and what best way but through education and enlightenment.
