You have been given a list of topics to research to further your understanding of events that took place and the people involved or affected by the Holocaust.  After reading the information provided on each website, you will immediately reflect on any thoughts or feelings you have formed on each topic.  The journal entries must be a minimum of 1/2 page in length.  Feel free to explore each topic in more depth--the more ideas you explore, the easier it will be to complete the reflective essay.  I suggest that you write a few notes as you are researching each topic--this will help you write more in-depth journal entries.  When you are ready to begin, click on the topic title, and it will take you to the related link.  Remember to write your reflections immediately after visiting each website; the ideas will be fresh in your mind, providing for a richer reflection.  WARNING: You will see some disturbing images, if you need to discuss your experience with me, I will be more than happy to talk with you.  Try to put yourself in the victims' shoes to gain a better understanding of what they experienced.
