He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. - Ecclesiastes 3.11
There are two days in every week
that we should not worry about,
two days that should be kept free,
from fear and apprehension.
One is Yesterday
with its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders,
its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever
beyond our control.
All the money in the world
cannot bring back yesterday.
We cannot undo a certain act
or take back a word we've said-
Yesterday is gone.
The other day we shouldn't
worry about is Tomorrow-
with its impossible adversaries,
its burdens, its hopeful promise,
and poor performance.
Tomorrows sun
with either rise in splendor
or behind a mask of clouds,
but it will rise and until it does,
we have no stake in tomorrow,
for it is yet unknown.
This leaves only one day-
Today.
Any person can fight the battle for just one day.
It is only when we add
the burdens of yesterday
and tomorrow that we break down.
The sadness comes not from the experience of today
but the remorse of bitterness
for something which happened yesterday
and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
There were a man as a demonstrator talk to us in a seminar. He brought a medium gucci. He show us that the gucci were empty and had some rocks (about 9 pieces). The demonstrator started to put them in the gucci until there were no more room for the remaining of the rocks and gave a questioned, "Can you add this gucci with more rocks?"
Audiences answered, "No, we can't!"
He asked the same questioned to confirm it and said,
"Are you sure ?" They replied again, "Yes,
of course". Then he picked some cans of gravel and
pebbles and filled that gucci. He can filled that gucci
with about 4 cans of gravel and pebbles.
He asked us,"Can we fill this gucci again ?"
As usual, they answerd, "This time, we are sure that
gucci can't hold for more !"
"Are you sure ?", replied the demonstrator.
"Yes, we are absolutely sure !", they answered
the question.
He took a basket that filled with sand and poured it into
the gucci till the sand almost out from the mouth of the
gucci. Once again, he gave us the same question,
"Can we filled this gucci again?"
A man spoke with aloud voice, "I could not give the
answer. I'm afraid, I will be wrong again because we are
all doubted".
Finally, the demonstrator took a jar of water and pour
out the gucci with water.
"Now, Did you get the point of this demonstration
?"
Immediately someone raised his hand and spoke, "This
demonstration inform us, that we often use our time up meaninglessly, we always spend our time unwisely and
with worthless things !!!
"That's good answer, but is not well enough.
The point is :
"WE HAVE TO ARRANGE THE ORDER".
We always fill the gucci (our time) with rubbish. So when
we want to use the space, there will be no more room. It
will better and wisely, if we spend our time with the
important ones in first place and I'm guarantee, you CAN
STILL use the remaining time for more unimportant things
(for examples, chatting).
The story describe us a message that we can be persons that very effective, efficient, and success, IF we use our time with well arranged order. This is one of the examples of the well orders:
Time for GOD.
Time for your family.
Time to run your vision (target of your life).
Time for increasing your ability (reading books, studying).
Time for keeping your health.
Time for socialize.
Time for playing around.
Time for watching a film.
Time for ...
and so on and so forth.
The question is "Have you already use your first time to communicate with GOD ?". Because our lives depends on GOD who knows every needs of His sons. He will give the best thing for us and He says to us "I'm with you for the whole of your life and I have the best plan for you as long as you walk with me and your time will be meaningful".
A man came home from work late
again, tired and irritated, to find his 5 years old son
waiting for him at the door.
"Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, sure, what is it?" replied the man.
"Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?"
"That's none of your business! What makes you ask
such a thing?" the man said angrily.
"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do
you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.
"If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour."
"Oh," the little boy replied, head bowed.
Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I borrow $10.00
please?"
The father was furious. "If the only reason you
wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can
borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense,
then you march yourself straight to your room and go to
bed. Think about why you're being so selfish. I work
long, hard hours everyday and don't have time for such
childish games."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the
door. The man sat down and started to get even madder
about the little boy's questioning.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some money.
After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started
to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe
there was something he really needed to buy with that
$10.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy's room and
opened the door.
"Are you asleep son?" he asked. "No daddy,
I'm awake," replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you
earlier," said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out
on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank
you daddy!" he yelled. Then, reaching under his
pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The
man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to
get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked
up at the man.
"Why did you want more money if you already had
some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,"
the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your
time?"
