ANDY'S LIST

106. John Schneider - What's A Memory Like You Doing in a Love Like This (3:24)
The guy can't forget his old love and her memory keeps haunting him no matter how much he wants to let go.  OK, so haunting might be the wrong word, but he can't shake it nonetheless.

107. Gary Allan - The One (album) (4:20)
I once thought this song was called “Canyons.”  I really can't explain why.  It possibly is related to how I thought the Marblehead quarry was the “Cloud Factory” when I was younger.

108. Blackhawk - I'm Not Strong Enough To Say No (4:16)
If you replace Black with Blue and Hawk with Bird you get Bluebird instead of Blackhawk.

109. Phil Vassar - Carlene (3:52)
There is a lot of truth in this song, meaning some stuff he says about each person is true, but they don't really know each other.

110. Clay Walker - Live Until I Die (1:01)
As opposed to what?

111. Bellamy Brothers - Redneck Girl (3:25)
She must have been out in the sun too long.  It is a good song, but I like “Old Hippie” better.  Remember, solar power—It's not just for hippies anymore.

112. Hank Williams Jr - Young Country (3:29)
Better than being old country.  I just can't think of anything good anymore.

113. Toby Keith - How Do You Like Me Now (3:29)
Perhaps it is irony that places this song at “Lumpy”, but this song springboarded Toby to superstardom.

114. Brooks & Dunn - My Maria (3:31)
Another one of the many hits by Brooks & Dunn.  Did anyone else know that Ronnie Dunn's base player before he hooked up with Kix Brooks was a good friend of Garth Brooks?

115. Tim Mcgraw - Don't Take The Girl (4:08)
Cledus T Judd's version of “Please Take The Girl” was no where near as good as the version Andy and I cooked up back in the day.

116. Dan Seals - Everything That Glitters (4:53)
Great song about how a woman can look good but be bad for your heart as you get in the way of her career.

117. Dwight Yoakum - Guitars And Cadillacs (3:02)
This guy is an actor now.  I wouldn't have this song in my list.

118. Alan Jackson - Home (3:17)
Song about how its not the size of the house, it's what you put into it that makes it a home.

119. George Jones - Hotter Than A Two Dollar Pistol (2:28)
Guy thinks the old men at the gas station like his car, but they want his woman.

120. Waylon Jennings - Amanda (2:58)
“If my wife leaves me for another woman, do I hold the door for both of them?”  That has nothing to do with this song, but it is funny nonetheless.

121. River Road - Nickajack (2:53)
This is kind of high for a song that was just pretty good when it was released and from a group that had only one more song before fading into the sunset.

122. Keith Urban - Somebody Like You (3:53)
This was a catchy song, but I bet if you redid your list now it wouldn't be on it.

123. John Denver - Thank God I'm A Country Boy (3:23)
Then I can eat government cheese and team up with an Indian.  Or not, your call.

124. George Strait - Ocean Front Property (3:05)
I didn't understand this song for a while when I was young.  I thought Arizona had a coast, but I was sadly mistaken.

125. Kris Kristofferson - Sunday Morning Coming Down (4:24)
“The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert.”  Quality writing by a man that probably lived the song.

126. Lonestar - Amazed (4:00)
The song that pulled Lonestar to more fame and their dreaded pop-band phase.

127. The Bellamy Brothers - Let Your Love Flow (3:14)
I don't care anymore.  Put your own comment here.

128. Mark Chesnutt - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (3:49)
I liked his version better than Aerosmith's.  At least you can understand the words.

129. Willie Nelson - City Of New Orleans (4:50)
I thought this was a song about the city, but it is about trains.  It is a good song about trains too.

130. Perfect Stranger - You Have The Right To Remain Silent (3:27)
The only song this group ever had, but a very good song that I still like.

131. Rascal Flatts - I'm Moving On (3:47)
Why is this song here?  Cut it out of your list now.

132. Rick Trevino - Bobbie Ann Mason (3:16)
I loved the video with his little “jump shot” finger flip in the final verse.

133. Garth Brooks - Unanswered Prayers (3:42)
Tony had this song much higher, but I couldn't argue much with either placement.

134. Shenandoah - Next To You, Next To Me (3:25)
The video was neat for this song as well.  I just remember random couples sitting on a bench and that I liked the video.

135. Toby Keith - Should've Been A Cowboy (3:29)
Toby's first real hit.  I remember it was played during the intro to Monday Night Football the year they thought Hank Williams Jr's song was leading to their decreasing ratings.

136. Hank Williams Jr - - All My Rowdy Friends (3:16)
I didn't read this before I typed the last comment, but this is ironic.  I mention the MNF intro song, and here it is.

137. Tanya Tucker - Love Me Like You Used To (3:47)
I have no comment on this song as I remember nothing of this song except for listening to it on the computer.

138. Gary Allan - Her Man (2:31)
Gary Allan is the man.  This song is also known as the SOB song.

139. Bellamy Brothers - Old Hippie (3:48)
Here's my favorite Bellamy Brothers song.

140. Clint Black - Leavin' Here A Better Man (3:03)
I got this tape of Clint Black for my 6th birthday I think it was.  I still have it in my room.  Quality album, not a song on it is bad.

141. Tracy Byrd - Big Love (3:39)
I remember coming home from church on Sunday mornings and me and Andy would pop in the Tracy Byrd CD and crank up “Big Love.”

142. Alabama - Tennessee River (3:02)
Oh Tennessee River and the fat man's boat, when he got it, well it wouldn't float.  That was what I always sang anyway.

143. Trick Pony - Just What I Do (3:19)
I liked this song the first time I heard it.  I didn't know who it was the first few times though as it was the first song featuring the singing of the guys in the group.

144. Ronnie Milsap - Smoky Mountain Rain (3:42)
The guy's gotta find his woman.  Ronnie Milsap has trouble with that as his blindness causes problems in the seeing her area.

145. Waylon Jennings - Luckenback, Texas (Back To The Basics Of Love) (3:18)
“The only two things in life that make it worth living is guitars tuned good and firm feeling women.”  The song is an instant classic with an opening line like that.

146. Willie Nelson - You Were Always On My Mind (3:32)
I liked this song, but lost interest in it when Levi's used it in their crappy commercial.

147. Mark Wills - 19 Something (3:17)
A great song, and I remember a lot of things from the song despite not being born until the mid-80's.

148. Charley Pride - Kiss An Angel Good Morning (2:05)
Country hit by a black man.  That was a real accomplishment.

149. Shelly West - You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma (3:25)
Good song that lasts  and lasts.

150. Alabama - Down Home (3:27)
This was another song from my childhood that I really liked and don't listen to enough anymore.

151. Tim McGraw - Down On The Farm (2:55)
A song about a party out in the field with women that “know how to grow 'em, if you know what I mean.”  Where are these women on my farm?

152. Blake Shelton - Austin (3:25)
Who the heck is Austin?  The woman, the city, or what?  Confusion persists, but the song is great.

153. Dan Seals - Three Time Loser (3:04)
The guy can't get a break on love.  He even got burned on his third time that is supposed to be the charm.

154. Kevin Sharp - Nobody Knows (3:28)
The bald man and his biggest hit.  That's all I remember about the guy.

155. Diamond Rio - Meet In The Middle (3:12)
If there is no road too long if they meet in the middle, how long would be too long if they didn't meet in the middle?

156. Lonestar - No News (2:53)
I liked the spin of this song into “Big News” to support the Packers in their Super Bowl Championship Season.

157. Clint Black - Desperado (4:01)
I always start singing this song before I am supposed to as the intro is painstakingly long.

158. David Kersh - Wonderful Tonight (3:38)
This song made for a good Super Bowl commercial this year.  Speaking of that, I never saw the don't judge too quickly add with the cat and the pasta sauce again.  I really wanted to see that again.

159. Mel McDaniel - Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On (3:00)
No one can stop themselves from watching her cause she looks to good in the blue jeans.

160. Don Williams - Lord I Hope This Day Is Good (4:08)
I wouldn't put this song in my list.  A good song yet, however.

161. Doug Supernaw - I Don't Call Him Daddy (3:49)
I'll never forget the little boy dropping his dad's stuffed horse as he runs to ride the pony his rich step-father had there for his party.  Talk about a tear jerker for the faint of heart.

162. Travis Tritt - Take It Easy (3:33)
An old Eagles song brought into the next generation.

163. Ricky Skaggs - Country Boy (3:51)
Cool video as he rides the New York Subway.

164. Dwight Yoakum - Honky Tonk Man (2:45)
I don't know what it is, but I was never a big fan of Dwight.

165. Earl Thomas Conley - What I'd Say (3:52)
Somehow this song reminds me of the Power Rangers.  I blame my occasionally overactive imagination, surprisingly dirty mind, and an episode of Power Rangers I saw one Saturday morning around 5 years ago.  If you need more info to figure  out why, too bad.  I still want to dress up as a Power Ranger for Halloween one of these years.

166. Faith Hill - It Matters To Me (3:17)
Typical whiny song by a woman saying that it should matter to you because it matters to me.

167. Garth Brooks - Callin' Baton Rouge (2:57)
With the emergence of cell phones and the raising in pay phone prices, the message of this song would be the same, but the method of calling would be different.  Wow, if I remember my sentence diagraming from junior high, that was a complex-compound sentence.  Impressive if I do say so myself.

168. George Jones - He Stopped Loving Her Today (3:18)
Ray Scott says, “She can't see what's so cool 'bout 'He Stopped Loving Her Today'”, but I can.

169. Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville (4:11)
This is a classic song.  I think this is a parody of Dr. Demento's “Diharea-ville”.

170. Joe Diffie - John Deere Green (4:30)
“More than once the town has discovered painting over it ain't no use.  There ain't no paint in the world that'll cover it.”  Must be DuPont premium enamel.  Andy knows what I am talking about.

171. Tracy Byrd - Watermelon Crawl (3:00)
Is this some type of swimming style?

172. Diamond Rio - How Your Love Makes Me Feel (4:03)
The only song I know of that ever mentions a “cow in the road.”

173. John Michael Montgomery - Life's A Dance (3:06)
I like the dance mix with the old hillbilly man's voice saying, “Dagnabit John Michael, life's a dance.”  Not to mention the cheesy background vocals of, “Dance, dance.”

174. Kenny Chesney - Me And You (3:40)
This is a wedding song.  “Ordinary?  No, I really don't think so.”

175. Ricky Van Shelton - Somebody Lied (3:21)
The guy is not really losing his mind always drinking and ruining his life, somebody must have lied to his old flame.  “But if  they were true, what would it matter to you?  Would it change the way you feel?”

176. Tim Mcgraw - Angry All The Time (4:30)
“I don't know why you gotta be angry all the time,” but I do know that the boys shouldn't be the spit and image of their mother.  That sounds a little fruity to me.

177. Paul Brandt - I Do (3:40)
Another wedding song.

178. Ronnie Mcdowell - Watchin' Girls Go By (2:40)
A song about a guy who enjoys watching women walk by, picking out the one's he'd “like to make love to.”

179. The Ranch - Walkin' The Country (2:57)
A song by the group Keith Urban used to be the lead singer for.  No real story in the song, just a good tune.

180. Blackhawk - Almost A Memory Now (3:13)
Wow, this song has 13 seconds left after 3 minutes play.  How ironic.

181. Kenny Rogers - Coward Of The Country (4:20)
Tony knows how awesome this song is.  Beat those Gatlin boys Tommy!

182. Lonestar - Tequila Talkin' (3:23)
Don't blame me, it was the alcohol talking.  Just like when Joe Namath told Suzy Kolber twice in an interview that he wanted to kiss her.  By the way, a video of the situation can be found at
www.ifilm.com and search for “namath”.

183. Brooks & Dunn - Neon Moon (4:20)
Neon moon is a bar as the neon lights are kind of like a moon.

184. Mcbride & The Ride - Just One Night (3:45)
I can't say I ever heard this song.  I am also to lazy to listen to it right now.

185. Moe Bandy - Americana (4:24)
I always skip this song when it plays.

186. Gibson Miller Band - Mammas Don't Let Your Babies (3:27)
Much better song when done by Waylon and Willie.

187. Oak Ridge Boys - Y'all Come Back Saloon (2:54)
I really just can't think of anymore comments.

188. Sawyer Brown - Small Town Hero (3:56)
I like the line about Jon burning the fields, crops, and barn before the man from the bank came to repossess them.

189. Michael Martin Murphy - A Long Line Of Love (3:24)
Our love will make it because it runs in the family.

190. The Highwaymen - Highwayman.mp3 (3:03)
The super group: Johnny Cash, Kris Kristopherson, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.

191. Earl Thomas Conley - Holding Her And Loving You (3:11)
A man that loves one woman but is married to another...the standard country song.

192. John Michael Montgomery - I Swear (4:20)
Damn All 4 One ripped of a much better version of the song and made it “pop”.

193. Lonestar - You Walked In (4:31)
Apparently the video featured women on roller skates, but I can't remember it too much.

194. Joe Nichols - brokenheartsville (3:51)
“Here's to the past, they can kiss my glass.  I hope she's happy with him.”

195. Great Divide - Pour Me A Vacation (2:54)
Who needs to travel.  You can get just as drunk if not more so in your hometown.

196. Tracy Lawrence - Time Marches On (3:03)
Tony likes this song because it says “smokes a lot of dope.”  Skaterboy hater.

197. Brett James - Chasin' Amy (3:26)
Yep.

198. Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart (3:24)
The best ever song.  OK, so I exagerate a little, but I did think that the first 5 million times I heard the song.  After that it started to get annoying.

199. Trent Summar - Paint Your Name In Purple (2:38)
A song about racing and it isn't too bad?  Wow, then it really must be a good song.

200. Trisha Yearwood - How Do I Live (3:59)
The end of the list at last.  How will I live now that all 200 of Andy's top songs have comments?
