So the crew from ECU and myself have returned from a badass 4 day weekend @ Sloss in Birmingham, Alabama. I have never seen so many iron furnaces run in that short amounth of time. For those of you who know nothing about Sloss go check out their website by clicking anywhere you see the word Sloss. The history of the place alone is amazing, add in good people, some crazy ideas, and 4 days of liquid iron and it felt like Christmas. Two years and counting till it happens again.

Also with the inspiration from Sloss I am begining construction on a cupola of my very own.

The creation of this site marks the begining of a new time for me, fresh back from Tucumcari, N.M. and just 3 days before leaving for Sloss. Overall I am excited but with my senior show aproaching (more info soon) I am begining to feel the crunch. I am glad to finally have gotten the time to start a new website and will update as often as possible. Enjoy!
