Crop Circles
Crop Circles are organized harmonic forms that manifest around the world, the result of an energy interacting with the physical world - in this case plants. This energy is comprised of light, sound and magnetism. To date, crop circles have been reported in 29 countries, and have appeared in mediums such as wheat, barley, canola, trees, ice, rice paddies, even linseed. Contrary to popular perception, crop circles are not a modern phenomenon. They are mentioned in academic texts of the late 17th Century, and over 200 cases have been reported prior to 1970. Some eighty eyewitnesses – as far flung as British Columbia and Australia – have reported crop circles forming in under twenty seconds; these witnesses describe sightings of incandescent or brightly-coloured balls of light which either precede a crop circle or are actively involved in its creation; in some cases shafts of light have descended onto a field and swirled the crop into a geometricshape in less than fifteen seconds, Such reports are often described by farmers. Only around 1980 was serious attention was finally given to the phenomenon, primarily in southern England, where 90% of designs are reported. The designs appeared primarily as simple circles, circles with rings, a nd variations on the Celtic cross. By the late 1980s they had developed straight lines, creating pictograms not unlike the petroglyphs found at sacred sites thoughout the world. After 1990 the designs developed exponentially in complexity, and today it is not unusual to come across crop glyphs mimicking computer fractals and elements expressing fourth dimensional processes in quantum physics. Crop circles have also increased increased in size, some occupying areas as large as 200,000 sq ft. To date there have been over 10,000 reported crop circles.       Courtesy

Outer space within the solar system is called interplanetary space, which passes over into interstellar space at the heliopause. The vacuum of outer space is not really empty; it is sparsely filled with cosmic rays, which include ionized atomic nuclei and various subatomic particles. There is also gas, plasma and dust, small meteors, and several dozen types of organic molecules discovered to date by microwave spectroscopy. According to the Big bang theory and confirmed by observations, outer space also contains 2.7 K blackbody radiation left over from the 'big bang' and the origin of the universe. Close to Earth, outer space contains material left over from previous manned and unmanned launches that are a potential hazard to spacecraft. Some of this debris re-enters Earth's atmosphere periodically. The absence of air makes outer space (and the surface of the Moon) ideal locations for astronomy at all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, as evidenced by the spectacular pictures sent back by the Hubble Space Telescope, allowing light from about 13.7 billion years ago — almost to the time of the Big Bang — to be observed.       Courtesy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

STS — 48
Spectacular video footages of a NASA Space Shuttle (STS-48) UFO encounter was taken by cameras on board the Discovery space shuttle on the 15 September, 1991. The video sequence was picked up live by a number of amateurs who were directly monitoring the transmissions. The material has been shown in news broadcasts and circulated amongst UFO researchers worldwide. The video shows several small bright objects manoeuvering on screen, apparently interacting with one another in a complex fashion. Sceptics have usually insisted these are merely shots of some of the many small ice particles which inevitably end up in orbit with every space shuttle. UFO investigators were quick to dispute this interpretation, and US scientist Richard C. Hoagland soon conclusively demonstrated the objects were actually large-sized and many hundreds of kilometres away from the shuttle. One UFO in particular appears to rise up from below the Earth's dawn horizon and can be clearly seen emerging from behind the atmosphere and the 'airglow' layers. It is certainly in orbit around the Earth, some distance out in space, travelling quickly. A sudden, bright flash of light is then seen to the left of the picture, below the shuttle. The UFO then turns at a sharp angle and heads out into space at very high speed. Two thin beams of light (or possibly - condensation trails) move rapidly up from the Earth's surface towards where the UFO would have been if it had continued in its original orbit, careful analysis of the video shows : The distance from the Discovery to the Earth's horizon is 2,757 kilometres The UFO's speed before accelerating into space is 87,000 kph (Mach 73) Three seconds after the light flash, the UFO changes direction sharply and accelarates off into space at 340,000 kph (Mach 285) within 2.2 seconds Such an acceleration would produce 14,000 g of force (1g is normal Earth gravity) The light flash and light beams (or contrails) that shoot into space have variously been described as a ground-based attempt to disrupt or destroy the UFO. Hoagland interprets the incident captured by the Discovery's videocamera more specifically as a "Star Wars" weapons test against a Star Wars drone (the UFO). Other UFO investigators prefer to describe it as a Star Wars attempt against an extraterrestrial UFO. Whichever version you prefer, the technology implied is most certainly impressive - at least of Star Wars calibre. More recently, from New Zealand, investigators have reviewed the video and corrected the actual time it was taken. They have found that the UFO incident was recorded over Australia and not the Philippine islands as was originally thought. Discovery's trajectory had already taken it across Surabaya in Java and above the Simpson Desert, (West) Australia. The UFO is first picked up coming over the horizon when the shuttle is close to Lake Carnegie, WA. Later, the light flash and one contrail can be tracked back to Exmouth Bay near the North West - Cape, a military facility. A second contrail can be tracked back to the Pine Gap military facility in central Australia. US investigators have been asking their Australian counterparts to provide further information which they don't have and which they probably can't get. All the information we have on this incident so far comes from the US or New Zealand. And, of course, there are Australia's stringent secrecy laws to contend with. The scenario was probably captured on video purely by chance. Along with other UFO incidents recorded on video by NASA, this material has contributed significantly towards NASA's recent decision to discontinue live television transmissions from space.       Courtesy

UFO / USO — Extraterrestrial
Since man had the ability to create cave drawings, and develop a written language, there have been records of unexplainable phenomena, some of which date back to 10,000 BC and earlier. These cave paintings clearly depict strange disk-like objects such as many have witnessed as UFOs today. In some paintings, from many great historical artists, there have been what appears to be some flying objects completely out of context with the time and setting of the piece. There have even been descriptions of unidentified flying objects in the Bible and the Old Testament such as Ezekial; who described a strange event which he experienced first hand. If these stories are true, they may not be explained by any other means. There is much evidence suggesting that ancient civilisations may have been visited by extraterrestrials. In Egypt there have been hyroglyiphics discovered one of which clearly depicts what appears to be nothing other than a lightbulb. It is believed by some, such as Eric Von Daniken, that "teachers from the sky" came down to earth and and taught the Egyptians astronomy, mathimatics and perhaps even the secrets of electricity. In Nazca, Peru there are hundreds of lines extending miles in each derection carved across the rocky desert floor. It is widely believed that these are ancient landing strips for aliens that may have visited the local tribes. There is even a mountain top which has been sheared off only to make one of these perplexing lines. There are many pictures of animals and people that can be seen only from the sky so how did the people of that time know how to make them so accurately? Such a feat is almost impossible without the aid of an aircraft. In South America there are ruins of what is believed to be a village. The stones used to make the buildings were cut with near lazer accuracy, technology that has only existed for the past 50 years. Today one would need a daimond tipped saw to achieve the same cuts. So how could the ancients have done this without these advanced instruments? An interesting fact is that the Pyramids of Giza match the three stars of Orion's belt in that they are aligned in the same fashon. Some believe that this may have something to do with the purpose of their construction and that they may relate to extra-terrestrials, possibly the area from which they came?
