Once there, Jonas thinks he sees someone who looks awfully familiar, and his determination to find out the truth leads the team to the last person they were expecting in the last place they would have thought to look.

But to do so, the team must participate in the Bonds of the Soul ritual to determine their worthiness, and individually help another of their teammates through a difficult time from their pasts.

Summary: Crossover with The Real Ghostbusters. Daniel receives a letter informing him that a former foster father has died and left him something in his will, leading to his traveling with the rest of SG-1 to New York City for the funeral and will reading. Upon their arrival they discover that Doctor Raymond Stantz of the Ghostbusters was another of the deceased man's foster children and beneficiaries. When both men begin acting strangely after receiving the necklaces that were their inheritance, both teams need to work together to figure out what's happening to their friends and stop the ritual that had been put in motion so many years ago before it costs Daniel and Ray their very souls.
