The MOMS Club supports at home mothers everywhere. The club was originally established in 1983 by an at home mother in California who had a desire to meet and foster lasting friendships with other at home mothers and their children. As of date, there are over 1800 chapters nation wide with membership exceeding 85,000 moms!
The MOMS Club recognizes and supports the importance of staying home to raise our children. We also realize that doing so comes with considerable financial sacrifices and for this reason try to schedule fun and educational events at a minimal cost. Our annual dues are only $24/mom which help cover the cost of office supplies, donations and club expenses.
Some key points about our club:
-We meet during the day when most at home mothers need support.
-Children are welcome at all events.
-We are a non profit organization.
-We participate in various service projects in the community to benefit local charities/organizations.
-At home mothers with school aged children are encouraged to join as well as mothers with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Our duties as mothers do not end as our children begin school!
Monthly activities include:
-Moms Night Out
-Age Specific and Mixed Age Playgroups
-Holiday Parties/Gatherings
-Story Times
-Special Activities (i.e. educational classes, group visits)
-Club Meetings
-Family Events
Our chapter also elects to head up special projects such as Preschool Forums, Club Open Houses and service projects.
As a member you are permitted and encouraged to attend as many functions as your schedule allows.
