Erma Naomi Chambers

This web page is dedicated to the loving memory of Erma Naomi (Chambers) Ashbaugh.

Mother of Sallie Ann (Ashbaugh) Pike,

Grandmother of Terri (Weaver) McFarland, Leon (Weaver) Fanning, and Tammy (Weaver) Davis.

Erma Naomi Chambers was born March, 25, 1922 on the Chambers Farm in Vinson, OK. Her parents were George and Sallie Chambers. She was the 13th child of 13 brothers and sisters. Erma spent her childhood years in Vinson, OK and lived the majority of her adult life in Mangum, OK, after leaving her parents farm.

She was a simple woman who lived by simple means. What she had in her possession was shared openly with all. She never placed a value on material things, but rather found value in her family and friends. She loved Jesus Christ wth all her heart and talked in great lengths about God, Jesus, heaven and the stories in the Bible.

Erma loved her family and spent as much time as possible with them.

September 10, 1999, Grandma Erma passed away due to cancer of the esophagous.

Her legacy of love, happiness, joy, contentment, hope & faith will remain with me always.

God bless Grandma Erma!
