Bill was born in Whiteville, NC. He graduated from Plymouth High School and served as a machine gunner for the Marine Corps in the Pacific during WWII. He was at Imo Jimo. After the war, he attended East Carolina University where he met and married Eva. Thereafter, he was an insurance adjustor for General Motors Corporation. Since retirement, he has played with bees, traveled, and remarried. Bill and Iola live in Rowland, NC. They like to take trips to the old home area around Hillsville, Galax and Woodlawn, VA.

Eva was born in Deletier, NC. I believe Eva graduated from East Carolina University and that is where she and Bill met. She taught mathematics for many years at Plymouth High School.

Bill and Eva's children are:
1. Debra Carole (15-Mar-1953 in Plymouth, NC, to 5-Oct-2005 in Swansboro, Onslow County, NC, Social Security 237-06-8732 (North Carolina),
2. Linda Denice (8-Sep-1956), and
3. William Norris (1-May-1959 to present).

Debra was born deaf and attended schools for the deaf. She was a computer operator. She died of cancer. the webmaster remembers Debra as a very cute and pretty little todler.
