Greg served in the US Army as a pilot in Viet Nam. He was a real estate saleman and broker in Myrtle Beach, SC. He later engaged in sale of aircraft and ancillary equipment.

Angela was a 1975 graduate of Myrtle Beach High School.

Greg and Angela have a son, Richard Gregory Winesette Jr. born about 1990. He attended Myrtle Beach High School, Class of 2008. Their daughter, Paige Mallory Winesett.
