Little is known about Henry except that he lived in Alabama and later, Florida.

Vernisha was born in Andulusia, Alabama. She lived much of her life in Northwest Florida in the Crestville area of Okaloosa County. Vernisha is buried in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Okaloosa County.

Henry and Vernisha's only children are:
1. Henry Martin Jr. called "Hank" and
2. Debra.
