Amazing

I sit by the lake in my favorite place

 My spirit aches, i silently grieve

Looking around I see life in the trees

With their now changing autumn leaves. 

The water here flows so clear and calm

The ducks walking peacefully by.. 

The beauty of nature all around me

I lay back and look at the sky.

Clear, blue, endless, forever.. 

White clouds floating smoothly by.

 Eternity.... it baffles my mind.

 I do not dare ask God why .

 A wind blows cool against my skin

   and blows my pain away.. 

I smile " My God, you amaze me.. "

I've been here before, i will survive, another day..
