Take that, Texas. I disparage beef.
In the trial of British au pair Louise
Woodward, the prosocutor proved conclusively that 8-month old Matthew Eappen died
of severe head injuries in February 1997. That was all they proved.
In October, 1997, a jury convicted Woodward, of second-degree murder, but trial
Judge Hiller Zobel invoked a rarely used rule to set aside the jury's verdict. He found
Woodward guilty of manslaughter and sentenced her to time served -- 279 days.
I feel they had no evidence against her, and the judge knew that, but made the verdict
to satisfy people that someone had been held liable for the baby's death. As a youth, I felt that the decision on
abortion was strictly that of the woman. But as I have matured, I have come to
reallize the error of my ways. Especially on what is termed "partial birth
abortion". This form of abortion is strictly a legal way to murder a full-term
fetus without being charged with murder. It involves a forced breach birth of all
but the baby's head. While the head is still in birth canal, the "doctor" severs the
baby's spine or sucks out its brain with a needle. Than the birth of the now dead baby is
completed. Those in favor of murdering unborn children claim this late-term abortion is
normally performed only to save the life of the mother. This is clearly a lie. Since all but the head of a viable baby is birthed, it would certainly
be no more dangerous to the "mother" to completely remove the baby while still living
than to remove it after murdering it. I also now believe that it is immoral and
wrong to use abortion as a primary means of birth control for a "normal" woman, other
than in cases of rape, to include incest, or to actually preserve her life.
Women know what causes pregnancy, and I now firmly believe that any woman who has
more than one on-request abortion should be (reversably) sterelized at the
same time. It is reprehensible for a woman to allow herself to be impregnated multiple times
and than run to the clinic to get it aborted. They know how to take care of that problem.
A friend once said to me, upon learning that I had seven children (including three
step-children) "You know, science has learned what causes that."
8 DEC, 1998 Judge overturns N.J. abortion law
Ted Turner once called
Rupert Murdock "Adolf Hitler". That is nearly as rediculous as calling Turner "Papa
Joe Stalin." (Well, almost.) UPDATE NOV 1998 I find it difficult to believe that
that many women would have lied about Gene McKinney, and I feel he should be
ashamed of himself for filing suit against his accusor for doing what needed to
be done. His phone call convicted him.
Bleeding heart liberals have long benoaned the injustice of capital punishment.
I, myself, have worried that it is terribly hard to make restitution in those
cases where the wrong person was convicted, saying, ''You can't just dig them up
and dust them off and say ''I'm sorry.''
On 19 November, 1998,
every Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee made it plain to everyone watching that
lying to the American public and perjury under oath is perfectly acceptable. (at least,
if the perjurer is a Democarat.)
Please, no profanity, smut, or libel. It will be deleted.

THOUGHTS ON BEEF
It was a shock to hear that the "Great State of Texas"
was suing Oprah Winfrey Because she used her constitutional
right of free speech to make a remark that she would not eat beef
again. I feel a law that says you cannot "defame or disparage beef"
is far more of an infringement on the right of free speech
than the lunacy that setting an American flag on fire
because you are too dumb to say anything intelligent is a
form of speech. I have been a meat eater all my life. Not
so much now because my youngest daughter is a vegetarian, and
will not allow meet in the house, but I still eat it accssionally.
However, I would probably be far healthier if I did not.
Congratulations on beating the mad cattlemen in court. I pray their continuing
vendetta against your free speech fails.
Louise Woodward Trial
Politically motivated Prosecutors in the Louise Woodward case
filed final court
briefs Thursday, following a decision by Massachusetts' highest court to grant a
rarely allowed motion to let lawyers in the case file what are known as ``post-argument''
briefs, arguing before the Supreme Judicial Court that Zobel abused his
authority under the rule that gives him wide discretion. They are seeking to have
the jury's verdict reinstated and to return Woodward to prison. The au pair's
lawyers, in their post-argument papers, submitted material supporting previous
arguments that medical evidence provided incontrovertible proof that baby Matthew's
fatal injuries could not have been inflicted when the prosecution said they were.
My opinion is that the only proper finding would be "not guilty".
ABORTION
I beliver absolutely in a woman's freedom of choice. She has the right to choose to have
sex or not have sex. If she chooses to have sex, she has the right to choose
that measures are taken or are not taken to prevent pregnancy. If she chooses not to prevent pregnancy and becomes pregnant, she has the right to
choose her obstetrician.
I feel that any woman who would use multiple abortions as her chosen method of
birth control should be sterilized.
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A federal judge overturned a New Jersey law Tuesday
banning a controversial late-term abortion procedure. U.S. District Judge Anne
Thompson declared the law unconstitutional because its wording was too vague
and it placed "an undue burden on a woman's constitutional right to obtain an
abortion." Thompson said the law threatened both patients and providers with
"irreparable injury" because women might be denied access to "the most
conventional and safest abortion procedures" and because providers might be
subject to "license revocation and heavy fines for performing constitutionally
permissible abortions." Thompson's ruling resulted from a four-day civil trial,
which ended in early October.
You know, in my 53 years I have read the Constitution of the United States of America a few times. An interesting thing -- nowhere in that great document does it say you have the right to take human life or to kill unborn babies. I am sure if the founding fathers had realized there would be millions of women of low morals wanting to kill their babies, they would have protected humanity from conception rather than birth. Now, how can a judge say that abortion is Constitutionally protected? It clearly is not. But than they are probably the same liberal dead-heads who say burning something is Constitutionally protected freedom of expression. But I would get in big trouble if I tried to express myself by setting a flag burner on fire. Of course, that would be just as bad as burning the flag, the same as killing an abortionist is just as bad as performing abortions. Both are wrong and can not be condoned.
The Evil of Ted Turner
Ted Turner is a typical rich liberal. He believes
completely in the freedom of speech as long as the speech is what he believes. Case
in point is Rupert Murdock. Turner has such great control in the media that he was
able to prevent Murdock from acheiving a wide dissemination of his news programs
while insuring that the news network he owns continues to disseminate its liberal
spin (1/2 truths) rather than give true news.
And when Murdock wanted to buy
the LA Dodgers, Turner tried to block that but it was perfectly ok for Turner to
own a ball team. HMMmm.
Here is something even scarier than "President Gore". Ted Turner is talking about buying the Presidency. That is so awful -- the thought of that sleaze
Hanoi Jane as First "Lady" is a good reason for a loyal American and retired army
man to think of leaving the country if it happens. More Hanoi Jane.
SMA Gene McKinney
My opinion is, he should have been
reprimanded, and his latest GCM revoked, and immediately retired. But that is just my
opinion.
CAPITAL CRIME PUNISHMET
But I believe I have the perfest solution,
and one that will be of great value to humanity. If a person is convicted of a capital crime,
give him the option of being questioned under a variety of truth serums. I understand
that it is impossible for a person to lie if the drugs are handled properly.
If the convict maintains his innocence under the truth serums, hold him but reopen the
investigation. If he admits his guilt, and does not have a disease which can be
passed on, make him a living donor. Since the person took lives, let him save some.
I believe the evil children, Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden , should be among the first
to become living donors, but because of the way the law is written in Arkansas,
they will spend less time in custody than some thieves. And it will be in juvenile detention.
Of course, if the person admits guilt, but his body would not be salvageable, either put him into a medical research program or allow him to be executed
in a manner specified by the relatives of his victim(s).
I see no reason to molly-coddle people who viciously attacked and/or tortured their
victims.
Boy won't that fry the liberals. God save the country from the ACLU.
Ken Starr, Sam Dash, & OK Lies
Many people who watched Ken Starr's testimony before the committee who had
previously believed the lies the Democrats had told about him discovered he is
not the demon the Democrats had claimed.
For anyone with the sense to see, it is obvious that Sam Dash is an ardent tool for
the Democrats. He very happily let Ken Starr pay him until he could do his best to try and hurt Starr's credibility to the maximum amount possible at the worst time. I had enough sense to see him for what he is.
